ICT Enabled Classroom:
Psychology Laboratory:
The college has a psychology laboratory equipped with various psychological tests and equipment. The B.Ed. Students and members of the faculty make use of these tests for conducting research. The training, placement and counseling cell (TPCC) of the college also utilize these tests for diagnostic and prognostic purposes.
Language Lab:
Language was established to meet the need to learn English in a very organized, technical and effectual way. The pedagogy of the centre has always been to merge technology with learning to introduce an altogether different practice of language skill enhancement. The centre was touched with a new and deeper shade of technology.Words Worth English Language lab is designed to develop English language proficiency among the ESL learners of English as a second language. We strongly believe that in this tech-friendly age, learning can be made even more appealing if it is done with just the perfect amount of easy to use but fascinating tech upgrades. This institute had also taken a franchise of SCOPE (Society for Creating Opportunities through Proficiency in English) in collaboration with ESOL, Cambridge University of London. The centre does not only facilitate students, but also the staff members of Vidyamandir to master their command over the English language which is precisely in tune with our slogan of "Better Everyday."
The available facilities are adequate to meet all the requirements of the B.Ed. Programme. Large sized computer labs, with 60 computers in each are there to facilitate the students in their project work and curriculum based requirements. Students can received training Libre Office from IIT, Bombay. They make their Power Point Presentations; Lesson planning, Action Research Projects and assignments in this lab.
Science Laboratory:
The college has well equipped science room. It is utilized for the teaching of Science of B.Ed. curriculum. Apparatus, Chemicals, specimens, charts, and models.
ICT Resource Centre:
The college has well equipped Technology lab with slide projector, overhead projector, LCD, Television, VCR, geometrical figures, models, charts, maps, transparencies, slides, white board, flannel board, etc. Technology lab is being utilized by all the lecturers, & B.Ed. Students. The students are acquainted with knowledge, uses, working and operation of various technology & aids. Teachers make use of various aids for the teaching purpose & giving demonstration lessons to make the learning of various topics interesting and effective.
Shri B.L. Parikh Central Library has state of the art two storied building with facilities like reading halls, e-library, public library, children library and SOUL library software. Usage of library is available to students and staff of trust as well outside readers. As of now, the library has around 39000 books, 64 magazines and 8 daily newspapers catering around 3000 school students, 380 staff and 2100 outside readers. seating capacity of the library is 300 students.
The library has around 7489 books, total tiles are 5335,12 educational magazines ,577 reference books,5 journals,111 encyclopedia to cater the needs for only B.Ed. students. There are modern reference books, dictionaries in the English and Gujarati, Encyclopedias of educational psychology, Educational Research, Educational Technology and volumes of Encyclopedia.
The General Hall is used for daily prayer sessions and also for lectures delivered by experts from outside. The classrooms are equipped for the use of latest technologies for teaching. In fact the Institute has an B.Ed. General Room.The institution has very big ventilated multipurpose & seminar hall where all the co-curricular activities and extracurricular activities are organized. The hall has the seating capacity of 150 students. The different activities like debates, dancing, singing, group discussion, guest lectures, quiz etc. are also organized from time to time. This is used for the following purposes: Holding of practicum, celebration of certain functions and days of national and international importance, holding co-curricular activities, workshops and seminars, conducting examinations, holding guest lecturers, as a method laboratory and as a common room. Multi-Purpose are equipped with latest technology. There is fixed LCD projector with screen, Audio Systems, T.V. with DTH, D. V. D. player, various CD’S and D.V.D. available.
There is a workshop for fabricating teaching aids and art exhibits. This laboratory is used for many purposes e.g. conducting lectures for Art & Craft and preparation of painting by the students, for providing training in preparation of articles prescribed in the syllabus of Interior decoration craft, for guidance in preparing the teaching aids of different teaching subjects and for practicing & improving black-board writing.
Our Sports Academyprovides facility to the students for various outdoor and indoor games. the infrastructure has been designed with exceptional facilities for sports as well as recreational activities to ensure that you are groomed to become just that Across campuses. The students have access to various sports facilities such as basketball courts, badminton, football, Hockey, skating, karate, tennis, table tennis and a cricket field. Students can also benefit from professional coaching available inside the campus.Institute organizes Yoga & meditation session for stress release and good health.
