Day special: International Mother Language Day

The United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) celebrates
21 st February as International Mother Language Day to promote mother tongue-based
multilingual education .The theme of the 2022 celebration is to advance multilingual
education based on the potential role of technology and support development of quality
teaching and learning for all.
International Mother Language Day celebration was organized by Smt.S.P.Kothari
secondary Education English medium college on 21 st February 2022 at college assembly hall.
The program started with chanting of Namokar mantra followed by activities conducted by
students such as speech on importance of mother language, students explained different
languages of India through power point presentation, activity which included recitation of
gujarati consonant in order and gujarati proverbs.
