Situation of COVID-19”

The COVID-19 pandemic has brought into limelight the stark reality that access to the tools and services that make remote learning aren’t a luxury but a necessity. Faced with the challenges of bringing virtual gathering, on 9th May 2020. Vidyamandir managed D.D.Choksi College of Secondary Education dedicated its first Online Multidisciplinary National Seminar under the guidance of Principal and CEAM president (Gujarat Chapter) Dr. N. G. Ghosh. Bringing together participants from all over the country, the seminar shed lights on a wide range of issues. The theme of the seminar was “Challenges and Opportunities in Higher Education in Pandemic Situation of COVID-19” with 9 subthemes. The webinar was attended by 112 participants from different parts of the country along with Eminent Educationists. A welcome speech was delivered by Dr. N. G. Ghosh. Warm blessings were showered by the venerable Shri Shirishkumar Modi (Chairman local Non Academic Committee), Words of appreciation were showered by honorable Dr. V. M. Sasikumar President, CEAM- INDIA. A motivational speech was delivered by Dr Hasmukh Modi, Director- Vidyamandir Campus. The chief guest of the day was honorable Prof. Dr. J.J. Vora Vice Chancellor of Hemchandracharya North Gujarat University, Patan. Dr. R.G. Kothari Ex VC of V. Narmad South Gujarat University and Dr. Ushoshi Guha, IPR Attorney, Govt. of India, were the prominent guests of the Valedictory session. Live feedback was shared by the participants during the seminar. Thirty selected research papers were selected for presentation on different themes. The Program was conducted by Mrs. Arpana Tripathi, IT managed by Mrs. Shagufta Sipai and coordinated by Dr. H.G Acharya and Team supported by Dr. Bharat Mali. Overall, the virtual National Seminar was a grand success.The remuneration from the participants was donated to the PM Care fund to fight against COVID-19
