A fieldtrip was organized for the Semester III students of Smt.S.P.Kothari College of secondary education
to Sardar Krushinagar Dantiwada Agricultural University as a part of their teacher training program. The
students were made to visit various departments of the university such as: entomology, tissue culture,
biotechnology and soil science departments.
Students were made to visit the botanical garden, dairy plant and horticulture farm. The students
interacted with the professors to gain information about their subject interests.
The purpose behind such fieldtrips to develop critical thinking, classroom extension activities, social
interactions and encourage research studies.
The staff of Smt.S.P.Kothari College was present with the students.
