Day special: Farewell of Semester IV students to Sembalpani

A farewell for Semester IV students was organized at Sembalpani (a village in Danta) 55 Kms from
Palanpur by the students of Sem III of Smt.S.P.Kothari college. Also known as the trekker’s paradise for
the nature enthusiasts, Sembalpani was a thrilling experience for the students exploring the uphill’s and
awakening the nemophilist inside who takes simple delight in mere observation and individual discovery.
Our stop was at the Lokniketan Ashram Shala a school for the tribals where breakfast followed by lunch
was served. Students visited the school and spent time with the tribal children playing games with them.
Activities like passing the parcel, dumb charades were conducted for the seniors. Memoirs and
experiences were shared. In all it was a day well spent with fun and frolic.
