Day Special:Gurupurnima Celebration

The teacher imparts education hence the role of the teacher is of paramount importance in a student’s
life.
To honor the teachers, the students conducted a special assembly to mark the occasion of Gurupurnima.
The function began with a happy note with lighting of the lamp and offerings to Goddess Saraswati and
students chanting the Guruvandana, followed by bhajan and significance of the day. Students paid
respect to the teachers with flowers, cards and sought their blessings.
The program ended with some fun and frolic and distribution of sweets.
